Valerie-Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 14 in 1970) was an American writer and actor. Two-time Golden Globe Award-winning actor became well-known with her roles as Barbara on the CBS show One Day at a Time as well as Melanie Moretti on Hot in Cleveland. As a teenager she began to perform and eventually became a character actress. Infusing her with an interest in show business, Bertinelli chose to pursue acting following a childhood friendship she had while she was a child. Bertinelli began her career in television after studying at Tami Lynn School of Artists. Within a short time confidence, determination and acting skills helped Bertinelli to carve out a place for herself and become a popular television personality. Aside from her difficult personal history and struggle with drugs and alcohol, she also worked to recover her life. In the pages of her New York Times Best-Selling Books she has narrated the struggles of her difficult life. Her current work is hosting her cooking program Kids Baking Championship. Jenny Craig, the weight-loss programme she is spokesperson for as well as associated with and her show, has been identified as the main reason behind this depressed teenager.
